About Pastors

Erika and I first felt the call to start a church when we were 19 years old and about to be married. We had a Vision of our future together with our family dedicated to connecting people to God to each other and their purpose. So as a young married couple in 2001 we felt led by God to be part of the team that birthed C3 Merewether. We saw the church grow during the first 5 years and then heard God’s call again to plant a C3 Church in the heart of Newcastle City. During the five years at C3 Merewether we also believed God was calling us into business, so at the age of 21 we bought a business with our family and within 5 years saw it grow incredibly. In this time we saw how God can use people in the market place to prosper on purpose and connect people to God, with many of our staff making decisions to follow Christ. We also started two other companies and started to invest in other areas. Through being in business we developed a even greater desire to see people connected to their purpose and enjoying their best life. More recently I took up a role at Compassion as the Church and Partner Relations Manager for C3 Church, this was out of a desire to help facilitate mission through churches in a Strategic, focused, effective way. In the last few years prior to us planting C3 Newcastle City we have had our two handsome boys Jensen and Judah, built our second home, finished our internship training at C3 Victory as well the C3 Church Planters Course. Completing our training and hearing God’s call a fresh we are excited to being fulfilling God’s purpose for our lives. We love our city and see C3 Merewether and Newcastle City being a place of influence, connection, safety, hope and purpose. See you in Church!
